2 Apr 2005 - Replaced version 3.5 of the Catweasel Floppy Read/Write Tools with version 3.5a. Version 3.5a is identical to 3.5 except that cw2dmk and dmk2cw now print the correct version number when invoked. In the 3.5 release, they printed "3.4". Oops.

14 Jul 2001 - Updated the Catweasel Floppy Read/Write Tools (formerly cw2dmk) to version 2.3. This fixes problems with the RX02 detector firing when it shouldn't and with testing the ready/disk-changed line on drives that don't provide this signal.

4 Jul 2001 - Removed the RCS subdirectory from the cw2dmk version 2.1 zip file. It had been included by mistake, and caused problems unzipping for at least one person.
30 Jun 2001 - Updated cw2dmk to version 2.1, which adds some heuristics to cw2dmk to produce cleaner output files and autodetect RX02 encoding.

11 Jun 2001 - Updated cw2dmk to version 1.5. Added several features, including the ability to try reading odd tracks instead of even when double-stepping a 40-track disk in an 80-track drive, and the ability to read DEC RX02 disks. Features inspired by mail from Tim Lindner and Richard Breen.

Both Pete Cervasio's reconstruction (available on my page) and Frank's build a correct LS-DOS disk, but Frank's is closer to the original source code and easier to read on the Web; on the other hand, redistribution is restricted.
